About
Voyaged Magazine is an independent travel publication built around a simple idea: travel advice should come from people who have actually been there. The site focuses on practical guides, detailed itineraries, and cultural context that helps explain why a place matters once you arrive. Expect neighborhood breakdowns, museum deep dives, architecture worth crossing a city for, and destination picks that are based on real experience rather than recycled travel lists.
All articles are curated by Andrea Affinati, based on first-hand experience and a consistent approach of structured research, on-the-ground detail, and a strong sense of what matters to travelers who plan thoughtfully. Her travel insights have been quoted in several international publications, including Forbes and Travel + Leisure.
What you’ll find inside Voyaged Magazine
City guides and itineraries packed with the good stuff, including both must-do experiences and under-the-radar detours. We cover the places that actually deserve your time (and PTO), travel stories, trend pieces and deep dives that help you plan your next trip—and make you want to book it.
Museum shows, contemporary arts installations and iconic buildings that justify the entry fee—and maybe the airfare. We’ll spotlight great galleries, artists and architecs that we love and that we think you might grow to love, too.
Stories where travel collides with film, books, music—the stuff that fills a place’s personality beyond the postcard shot. Expect reading lists for your overnight rail trip, stories that won’t bore you stiff, and the odd deep‑dive into the films, podcasts, and street art that make a neighbourhood tick.
How we pick our stories
Voyaged Magazine doesn’t publish press-release travel.
Destinations are selected because they are interesting, distinctive, or simply worth the time it takes to get there. If a place appears on the site, it means it has been visited, documented, and written about from direct experience.
No cookie‑cutter press releases, no undisclosed freebies. If we recommend a place, we’ve been there. If we link to a product, take it as a hint, not a hard sell. Transparency keeps the lights on and the karma clean.
